What does the name Talahifo mean?

​

Long ago, a chief lived on the hill above the village. Whenever he called out or gave instructions ("tala"), he would speak to the people below ("hifo"). From this story came the name Talahifo.

Talahifo is a family-owned holiday home in the peaceful village of Toula, just a short drive from Neiafu. We created this space to give visitors the opportunity to experience the beauty of Tonga while enjoying the comfort, privacy, and convenience of a home away from home.

Whether you're visiting for a family holiday, a diving adventure, whale season, or simply to relax and unwind, we hope Talahifo becomes a place where lasting memories are made.

Our goal is to share the warmth of Tongan hospitality and help our guests discover the authentic beauty and charm of Vavaʻu.
